I've been on a couple of dates with guy since the beginning of january. We talk every other day. Yesterday, we met up for dinner and he told me that he'd slept with someone else on Thursday. He told me because he wanted to know what I thought about our 'situation' so far. My natural reaction was to act completely fine with it as at the beginning of our fling he'd told me that he doesn't want a girlfriend and wants to enjoy himself this year, so I've been happy to casually meet up every now and then, never expecting anything more as I ultimately want to enjoy myself this year too.
It then got a bit awkward. I said, of course he can do what he wants as he's on his year abroad and I'd not thought about what we were doing much, only that I like him and that it's nice to spend time with him.
However, after he'd told me he'd slept with someone else I secretly felt gutted and left pretty soon after.. I clearly have more feelings for him than i've let on. Anyway, in his eyes he's done nothing wrong, and judging by my reaction I didn't appear too upset. He told me he likes spending time with me and likes me as a person and still wants to meet up. I wasn't sure if what he meant by this as it was phrased strangely. I sent him a whatsapp last night asking him to clarify and he hasn't replied to it at all today. Should I pursue this or have I been mugged off?
In general - boys - why do you not want a relationship when most girls are happy to give you one?
