Is it cheesy that i do this?

Ok so this year has been full of emotion for me, and one of my many coping mechanisms i've come up with over the year is to write all my emotions out, now one of these manifested itself as a love letter (which i actually posted on the "Dear You ..." topic on this forum) Well i ended up sending the letter to the person it was intended for and she was speechless; in a good way Now my question is; is it cheesy that i like and want to write love letters, i know chivalry isn't dead, but there are some things which is still a bit of a no-no (like giving a flower on the first date for example).
