| My boyfriend and I have been together for a year. He is 27 and I am 21. Although he does do very nice things for me ( a couple of weeks ago he showed up at my front door unannounced bringing me flowers) he hasn't told me he loves me. His longest relationship so far was only 18 months so I'm thinking he could be a bit of a commitment phobe and maybe scared to say it? Although his actions suggest he does and he says he cares about me, I'm worried he's not taking the relationship seriously. He briefly mentioned that he thought it would be ridiculous if we moved in together (we're both having difficulty living at home and could afford to rent somewhere if we so wanted) which kind of hurt my feelings, and has never mentioned anything about being with me in the future, having kids or any of that. Not that i do want to have kids or get married for a long time, but he hasnt even brpught up these topics. Should I discuss this with him or does it sound like I'm worrying over nothing? I've never been with someone this long for them not to say they love me so its been worrying me a bit that I care about him more than he cares about me. Any advice? | |||
