Hi!
Basically, I'm in year 11 right now, and since year 7, my best friend has hinted that he likes me and has asked me out before. I said know because it was like the second week of year 7 and I barely knew him. However, it was my Birthday recently and he gave me my present today, which was a card saying 'I'm taking you to the cinema, what do you want to watch?'. Me, being me thought he meant as friends but according to one of my other close friends, it was a way of asking me out without having to do it face to face because he gets really nervous. Throughout the 5 years I've known him, I've always seen him as a brother BUT I have also never had a boyfriend soooo... I don't really know what to do. He's probably the nicest guy a girl could ask for, but I don't want to upset him if it doesn't work out, and I don't know what us do if he decided not to be friends. So I'm in a dilemma. I like him but I don't know if it's platonic or not and I'm too scared to take that risk of losing hi m...
