Basically yesterday she didn't text back all day, and I was busy too, but fairly late on I managed to text her.
She said 'a so you haven't forgotten about me ;P'
I jokily retorted that I was equally waiting for her to get back to me.
She then went into a bit of a fluster where she made out that I should be the one to initiative conversation because 'you've always made the first move', 'it shows me that you care' 'It's more polite if you text firsth and 'I don't want to be the one always in charge!'
I don't know what to make of this, why's it such a big deal to her? Most of the time I do text her first but she made out that if she does first sometime then the relationship dynamic is wrong?!
Is this part of the 'women like men who lead' belief/ancient rules of chivalry or what?
The last comment also got to me because it contradicted the first one-i.e. she's saying I've always made the first move, but she feels she has to be in charge? :S
