Friend that refuses to play matchmaker

My bestfriend (Girl A) has been going on for a while now about how i'd make a cute couple with a girl she knows (Girl B). So we've all hung out now a couple times and i have a feeling that Girl B may be interested (I like her too btw). But the problem is now my bestfriend isn't really doing much to help. I'm quite rubbish with girls so my bestfriend says that Girl B has no idea I'm interested. But I find it weird that she won't even drop any hints to Girl B when she knows I like her. Apparently, Girl B has dropped hints to my bestfriend saying stuff like 'you should hook me up with one of your friends'. When I asked my bestfriend what she said back, she said she didnt even mention me. She could at least help me out! Am i overreacting or is she truly being a **** friend? If you were my bestfriend, would you be doing a lot more to help? Someone please answer that lol

She avoids any conversation about Girl B nowadays, it's really quite strange.

I know I should man up and just show Girl B that I'm interested but like i said i'm **** with girls.

Any advice? The next time we all go out, I'll at least try to get Girl B's number and be a lot more flirty, but the way things are going it seems impossible that we'll all get to meet up again.

And before anyone says anything, my best friend is NOT in love with me. I'm certain of that, so I'd appreciate if you'd trust me on that one.
