My co-worker is married to a female office manager at another company.
His wife came home last week and told him a workday story about a worker at her company having a heart attack in the parking lot. Another worker saw the guy looked pale, called an ambulance and the worker was able to get to the hospital and get things under control.
A few days later, MY co worker looks at his wife's phone and sees a text conversation between his wife and her company's accountant. His wife texted: "do you think we should have office precautions in the future? Maybe buy a difibulator for the office?"
The accountant answers back, "yes, that's a good idea, especially if you wear that dress again. ;)".
There is no reply on her phone back to him.
He did not confront his wife and he did look through the cell phone bill and did not find an unusual amount of texts between the two.
My co worker trusts his wife but knows her workmate is married.
I don't trust anyone so I'm not sure what to advise. I don't think it's appropriate but I don't know if she plays to the remarks or tolerates him like a creepy co-worker.
What would you do if someone at your spouse's workplace sent them a text like the above?
