I am in my mid-twenties and feel I should probably know the answer to this question by now but how do I tell a good male friend (who I think, judging by instinct and answers to a previous thread of mine, recently made a move on me) that I am interested in him?
In case he isn't actually interested, I don't want to scare him off or ruin a good friendship by making him feel uncomfortable hanging out with me one-on-one, as we frequently do. Should I wait for an opportunity to drunkenly kiss him (thereby being able to brush it off by blaming it on alcohol) or say something roundabout like 'Mutual friends think there's something going on' or 'Friend X reckons you're into me'? or something silly and British like 'People think this is, um, like, a thing. Is this a thing? Um, do you want this to be a thing?'
Anyone been in this situation before? :o
