This isn't in relation to making friends, because i've managed to thankfully make some great friends so far at uni (in my first year, been here since september, living in halls) but pretty much everyone (including all my flatmates/most of my close friends) around me is in a relationship, and I've moved 250 miles away from home, and I'm single. Sometimes I do feel quite lonely, like tonight, it's just really quiet in the flat and i just wish i had someone who I knew loved me or at least cared for me in that way..it just kind of sucks sometimes as everyone around me has a partner, and my flatmates always have their bf/gf's round (which i think is a good thing for the most part, it's good they can see their partners and i have nothing against that, it's just sometimes it reminds me of the fact i'm single and don't have a partner) and it just makes the fact i'm single feel all the more apparent. Does anyone else feel like this at uni and how did you ma nage.
