Tricked me.

So, I got a girl's number in class. I handed her my phone and she put it in with her name. I didn't call or text her. The next day she came to me and asked to see my phone saying she might have put the wrong number in. So I gave her my phone, not thinking much about it. She handed my phone back and I asked her if it was right, to which she replied that it was. I later came to realize that she deleted her number from my phone. I realize that rejection is normal and it doesn't bother me too much, but the way she did it really hurt. She could have just not replied/called back, could have just asked me straight up to delete it, but the fact that she didn't even have that decency makes me feel like crap. I had been in a pretty good mood for that past week or two, which isn't usual, and it kind of threw me back into my normal depressive state.

Is this "trick" normal? Any input?

Edit: This is at a community college, by the way. She's 19.
