Did he cheat???

I was tested negative for Ureaplasma before getting pregnant and during pregnancy. Husband and I were apart for almost 3 months when I was pregnant. When we "reunited" we had sex a few weeks before I was due. We did not have sex again after that. About 8-9 months later I was diagnosed with a ureaplasma infection and had to take medication. He denied cheating and refused to get tested telling me that a doctor told him that the bacteria is present in most people and can be triggered by different things.
