My girlfriend and I (both of us 24 y.i.) have been together for some time. Actually she proposed me to get married, but I think that it's too early and I told her that although I would also like to get married to her, but that we have been together for less than a year and let's wait a bit first.
However, I have asked her if she wanted to upload profilie photo in facebook of both of us and that I would also like to do the same (hence, both of us to have the same pic) but she refused it. She doesn't want to upload a picture of us because she says that her dad must not see, that she is shy, that she wants to keep things private, etc. This makes me so so sad. I am happy I am with her and I love, and thus I would be more than happy to have a picture with her since she is my everything. If she also feels the same then why she doesn't have the will to do so? Her replies sound to me like excuses. Maybe she wants other boys to think that she is single. I know that she had cheated (not me) in the past, although she regrets and she says she won't do it again. She says she wants to marry and uses it as proof that she loves me, but I also know that some people get married for reasons. Why could it be that she doesn't want to upload pictures of me? She breaks my heart.
