Assuming the breakup was civil and if not quite mutual, respected as a decision?
I know it's way too soon (otherwise I wouldn't be up at 2am asking this question on a forum) but I'm hoping in a few months I can get in touch with her and act like we did when we were friends in college.
Is that possible? What are the signs you're ready?
I hear everything from you can never be friends with an ex, to give it a few weeks then ask them for a coffee. :-S
P.s. please don't assume I can never be friends with her judging by my paranoid post history, I might not be like that this time next year!
