I've been friends with this guy for nearly 4 years now and we are very close. Although I didn't think of him as more than a friend initially, I started to have a crush on him around 2 years ago. Sometimes, he shows signs that he might be interested too but had never really asked me out/talked about it before. After such a long time as friends, was just wondering how could I let him know that I'm interested in being more than friends without being too forward?
Other info: I'm relatively shy and never had a boyfriend before. As far as I know, he has not had a girlfriend before as well.
