I recently found a new houseshare on a flat sharing website to live with the landlady who I'm now worried I might not be compatible with.
She. doesn't care for her appearance, burps, eats loudly and picks her noise. The room was very very dusty when I moved in, which is a shame as she's done up the house with really quality stuff from John Lewis etc.
Now my main worry is that she might not approve of my habit of showering twice a day. I cannot help it, I need to shower when I wake up and also before I head to work, I do worry about smelling and having itchy skin. It's really important to me.
Also I am worried as she hasn't been forthcoming with contract. She emailed it to me because I demanded it before paying deposit. Now I've asked when she will print out a copy for me to sign twice and she keeps saying she will bring it.
It now makes me wonder, if and when I feel it's time to move out, should I do a runner on last day? If I don't have a contract?
