Okay love yourself first...I'm sure some of you have most probably just rolled your eyes, or you have just slightly nodded your head in agreement or you may have just shouted at the screen saying how do I do that...or...maybe non of the above...lol. :lol3:
I guess I have been compelled to write this as I have recently finished a marriage and after that I've had a lot of realisations about myself, the marriage and the parts my ex and I played.
I look back on the marriage and realised that I wasn't being me and that I wasn't truly happy with myself, I didn't love who I was, which I believe is the ultimate reason the relationship failed. Not sure if any of you guys and gals can relate, or maybe you can and I would love to ear your comments...
The reason for writing this is to confirm my belief in why relationships are successful or are completed disasters. I believe that you need to have a purpose in life and be on that life's path no matter what!!! Loving what you do, so when that special someone comes along, you are not all consumed by them.
Many people, I feel, are getting into relationships to fill a hole, to feel an emotion, but are looking to someone else, rather than themselves to feel that. Like a lost puppy looking for love.
:icon_arro I'm just curious to know, how many people feel the same way or if you have a whole different look on it. What are your thoughts?
