Yes, I know, big apologies as I know this question has probably been asked to death.
There's this guy who I don't speak to much since he is on a different course. I met him during a fresher's social and it was a quick introduction conversation. Later on there was a cinema trip planned for one of my Uni's accomodation and I went with him as well as others so it was a group thing. Since it was cinema I didn't get to speak to him that much but it was nice to meet him.
Every now and then since freshers, I have bumped into him and conversation wouldn't go further than a hi/hey etc. I tried to get his attention again by inviting him to a Uni society event. He told me he was unsure whether or not he would come but I told him it's cool. I gave him my number and asked if he could let others know about my event and if they were interested they could text me so I help the society out.
Since then, I only have bumped into him every now and then.
There is another event planned for this month so I thought I'd text him to let him know about it to which we had a decent conversation for once.
After that topic was done with, he asked if I wanted to meet up with him sometime in which I replied ''Aw cool! We will organise something as soon as I get these jan exams out of the way :)''
He then told me that he will text me after the first week of this term.
So erm yeah sorry if I'm being oblivious...
