Shy guy won't take hint

Hi i'm trying to get a really shy guy I have been working with for the past 2 months to take the hint I like him but am getting nowhere. He is 26 with an amazing body and is very handsome but is so quiet and nervous around girls it's rather hard for anyone to make any progress. The guys at work tell me he has never had a G/F which I find impossible but maybe its true? I have tried to flirt with him a little bit on numerous occasions playfully shoving him on his muscly arms however he just runs away whenever I initiate anything. I have been told he has said to co-workers he fancy's me and thinks i'm amazing and he checks my facebook page also. What could I do to open him up???
