Need to hire PI what do I look for?

Short end of things been on here before. Now after 2 years of struggle from a one time WW infidelity thought we were on the mend. Now I believe cake eating started with a younger guy at work. Feel like I am losing my mind. I need to hire a PI for my sanity. What should I look for and how much should I expect to spend?
