Was this a compliment?

I was at work and this guy was telling me how many calories each chicken McNugget had and I said I didn't know why I was shocked since I didn't eat McDonalds. He said 'yeah, you can tell'. I asked what he meant by that and he stuck his index finger up and said 'you're like that.' I don't know if this is an insult or a compliment.
