Boyfriend is always on the 'put down'.

Sometimes I feel that my boyfriend is constantly on the put down, I'm going to University in September and he constantly drops comments like 'look at the country girl pretending she's clever' and 'You'll probably never get a job as a solicitor anyway'. He's 5 years older than me and hasn't been uni himself I can't help but feel he's jealous as he works a semi-skilled job. Makes me feel so small but when I address him about it all I get is 'don't be so soppy'. At my wits end! :(
