| My boyfriend has commented all throughout our relationship that a lot of things don't matter to him and that he doesn't really feel anything. At the beginning of the holidays he said he was considering leaving me and stated no reason. I've been talking to him a little and he's said that he doesn't know if he cares about our relationship or not because he doesn't feel anything much, but he seems keen to talk philosophy with me and i think that his problem is that i can't really keep up with this, because I'm a physics enthusiast and i just can't always think philosophically. He also pretty much stated that he thinks we're having too much sex and he wants to do other things instead. I don't understand, he always initiated things, so does he try to use sex as a way to test if he can feel anything? I really care about him, and I want to spend time with him and make his life better if i can, but I don't know what to do. Should I just reject any future advances, even though he's my partner?
