Men rating women, making up lies

Right I am currently working as a gardener as a summer job with a bunch of other guys who look at every woman that goes by giving them a rating out of 10 based on would they shag her. I respect women and I find their attitudes to be disgusting, they make up lies saying how many girls they slept with, the amazing hot girl they (didn't) slept with and I can clearly its a load of rubbish but they believe each other. I out of the group probably have been with the most amount of women but to me its not a ego thing, I generally like the women I do sleep with and able to talk to them in a nice manner. I don't get why some men act like that
