I'm away from my boyfriend for summer as we both go to the same uni and he lives far away from my hometown. When we're together it's great and I feel so happy with him and we have plenty of laughs and stuff to talk about - we'll chat for hours and hours. However whenever we're apart, I find there is less to talk about and I occasionally feel very distant from him in terms of the relationship. My life is pretty boring at home... I basically work nearly everyday in a restaurant and see the odd friend once every few days and he pretty much works all the time also. We both have much more active lives at uni and I'm pretty sure this contributes to the problem of struggling for conversation. I'm bored of texting and prefer phone calls but we usually run out of stuff after about 20 mins/half hour. Is it normal for things to get a bit boring during long distance? Baring in mind we're only away from each other for like a month at a time so it's not that ba d and I'm seeing him soon but I just wondered if anyone else has ever felt this way... | |||
