How did you handle your daughters first several boyfriends?

Some of my 12 yo daughters friends are boy crazy. My daughter is not as she is very level headed despite the hormones. She is very attractive and popular. Puberty has started about four months ago. I remember when I was a 12 yo boy and so on and the level of hornies and devious attempts to deflower were epic pursuits. My wife was also rather wild. Still there clearly is an interest in boys and a certain crush is pretty strong. Any and all advice welcome.
