friends being rude

Hi! Not sure if this belongs here but I wanted to post anon & have a little rant so here it goes. Turning 21 this week but decided to have a meal to celebrate it next weekend. Texted all my so called friends over a week ago to invite them and over half just haven't bothered to reply or even acknowledge my invite. Thing is, the people that I invited are actually the people that I wanted there & its making me rethink the kind of friendship that I have with them if they can't even reply a simply text message. I rarely do anything for my birthday but I wanted this year to be different, I just wanted a night where I could have all my friends together and we could all have a laugh. Mehhhh don't even know why I'm posting on here, guess I just wanted to get everything out.
