Why do overweight girls boast about having 'big boobs'?

This has always confused me. Fat girls have big boobs because they have excess fat on them, just like they have excess fat on their stomachs, arms, face etc. But I hear so many of them boasting about how big their boobs are and talking about showing them off in low cut tops and people looking at them. The other day I heard two of them bitching about this girl who is a size 8-10 and a 32B, and saying she has 'no boobs' as if that is less attractive than being overweight with big ones. I don't understand. Are they just trying to make themselves feel better, or do they genuinely not realise that their boobs are only that size because they are overweight?
