Basically I'm friends with this guy, although we've had a ~thing~ and I've started to like him a bit more than friends. However he's been so bad at texting, it's annoying. I spoke to my friend (who's good friends with him) and she said that he's said he doesn't like texting girls first etc (although he used to text me first sometimes at uni... but we are on break for easter so maybe he's just busy). We haven't spoken for a few days but I want to text him, but as I've probably started our conversations the last 4/5 times I don't want to seem too eager.
Do I just give up and wait for him to text me?
