Is it right to make him wait for marriage

Hi there kind of nervous this my first post please bear with me :) First off I'm not married yet but I do hope to be someday to my now boyfriend. I don't want to make this too long. The reason I am posting is I have a question I would like to ask about my current relationship. My BF and I have been dating for a year and a half things are going very well. The relationship its self has no problems I couldn't ask for a better BF he treats me very good. Only problems is I am still a virgin and plan to wait till marriage or so I would like to. My BF on the other had is not virgin that in itself doesn't really bother me. It already hard enough to find a decent guy let alone find a guy that is still a virgin the problem I am having is with making him wait. Everyone around keep saying "if you don't give up the goods he's going to wake" or "oh he's defiantly getting it elsewhere". I never really put that much thought into it but the closer we get the more I wonder if he's really ok with waiting. Also is it fair to make him wait. Most of my friends think I am going about this the wrong way. One of them went as far to compare him to a car which really set me off but that's a different story all together LOL. I guess in short is it right to make him wait for marriage Thanks again :)
