Girls/Guys:would you date someone whos cheated in their past relationships?

Jus curious what peoples thoughts were on this issue A guy im interested in,who im also friends with cheated on his last gf which was 2 years ago,there was a back story to it though like she cheated on him first etc but anyway,would you get serious with a guy or a girl if you know they cheated on their other half?
