How to deal with a partner who wont make any effort with your friends?

My boyfriend is in his 20s he is a sociable guy with people he knows or when hes drunk he goes out alot and meets new people so its hardly like hes shy or reserved hes very cocky, but he only likes a 'certain type of person' i.e the person that gets pissed every week, their life evolves around clubbing there just in general prats or bitches and are those sort of annoying people who in their mid 20s still act like kids. Im far from this I dont drinka nd i hate clubbing i have 2 best friends at uni there like me we go out clubbing alot atleast once a fortnight so were not dead old boring people who sit in their rooms doing nothing but we usually spend our nights sat round our kitchen with a hot chocalate having a chat. My boyfriend hasd met them once, he took the piss out of my best friend as he found her and her boyfriend funny and 'boring' he made a tiny effort with my guy friend. The next time he came up he refused to even talk to them he went straight into my room and it resul;ted in me sitting with my friends in the kitchen while my boyfriend sat in my room. I was very embarssed as he wouldnt even pop into say hello my friends were thinking he was rude and he was thinking i was spending no time with him.; I always make an effort with his friends I dont like them I think there all idiots but I never slag them off and always talk to them so what shall I do about my boyfriend who doesnt try at all
