Boyfriend wants to be dominated

I've known for a while now that my boyfriend is interested in being 'dominated' in the bedroom. I don't have a problem with this, as such, but I am a bit nervous and uneasy about the prospect of attempting certain things with him. Don't get me wrong, he'd never force me. He's actually worried about scaring me because he likes such things, he doesn't want to make me feel pressurised into anything. I'm just not a very dominating person at all. We've never done anything like that before and I don't think i'll be particularly good at it. I'm embarrassed about doing some of the stuff he has mentioned but really want to try new things. Just really anxious about it. I don't want to look, and feel, like a fool. We've had your 'conventional' sex several times before, its fine, not great but not bad either. I don't know how to relax about taking control and to tell myself that i'm not doing anything wrong. Really, really want him to enjoy our sex life more and am worried I can't do that for him cos i'm too nervous :( Clean answers only, please
