Married for 5 monts and feeling upset

I am 54 and married for the first time 5 months ago. We were together for 5 years and split for 18 months but got back together and married. My husband is the world's worst communicator. If I ask any question that he doesn't like, his response is to go to our bedroom, shut the door and doesn't speak to me for 1-3 days. We both have assets. I have no kids and have been very open about sharing all the information on what I have and making him the beneficiary of my life policy, etc. I live in Florida. I do not have a will. I have no idea if he has a will but he has children. I don't think my husband has made any arrangements for me if something happens to him. I think if something happens to me, my assets would go to probate but I am fairly certain that after that, my husband would receive my assets, which I am find with. My husband shared with me that he has a 401K with $250K in it but the beneficiary is his children. Other than that, I have no idea what my husband has except I know he owns his home that we live in free and clear. My husband had a heart attack 1 month before our wedding. He is 52. If something should happen to him, does anyone know Florida law and if I would be entitled to anything? What if he has a will and it states all his assets go to his children as he was not married at the time if he did do a will? What if he doesn't have a will? What do I do? I am at a loss.
