List the ways women check out men

One of the things I've always sucked at is approaching women. Im fine once I have an "in" but can never read signs they give off. For instance if a girl smiles at you is it just friendliness or more? One of the tips I recently heard was that if a woman looks at your face then down the rest of your body then that's a pretty good clue. So guys - list your tips for spotting targets ;)
