so ashamed I punched my boyfriend in the shoulder

No reason for a back story. Had an argument with long term live in boyfriend. Acted like a child because he was ignoring me and so I punched him in the shoulder blade. No excuse for this I know because violence is never jusifiable. He really doesn't mind I did it and even laughed after and said I hit like a girl, but I'm ashamed and so upset that I did that to a person I love. And worried that now I'm an abuser. I'm just so confused.
