Random question I was thinking about today... When a wayward spouse has an affair, one of the things recommended on TAM to determine whether a reconciliation is real is whether the WS is able to cut all contact with the OM. If she can't, it's probably not a real R. If she can, it might be real. Is there an equivalent theory for non-affair separations? For example, a workaholic husband that is never around, or a wife that spends all her time with the other moms over her husband. You can't really ask someone to cut all ties with work or friends, so how would you tackle a situation like that? | |||
