Crushes. Common when married, just wait it out?

Hi

I've been married 3 years now, Wife and I early 30's. No kids yet, no mortgage. Got together 9 years ago, moved in pretty fast (less than 4 months), quite quick thing.

We have, to all intents and purposes, an amazing life. I am not *unhappy*. Great jobs, no attachments, no real risks, we go on holiday all the time, we have sporting interests together now and social passions together like dining out. We have lots of friends. We have always said we are the best of friends, and it is true, she is an amazing person and I do love her dearly, but are there different kinds of love at play here?

We have, and I mean this truthfully, never had an argument in 10 years....not one. Also, we have probably been *physical* about 10 times at most in the last 5 years..... I am pretty sure that is correct. we are both fit and active people, considered attractive....but the physical side of things we have effectively just let go of.... neither of us are moaning about it, or making efforts to do it.

I find myself developing a crush on someone right now, been the case for about 3 weeks now..... is this a familiar tale for people?

I'm not saying I'm going to do anything here, I'm riding it out, but it feels like my wife and I are effectively soulmate best friends, who LOVE hanging out together....but the passion and excitement is lacking at this moment.....for me anyway.

Can anyone relate?
