Don't you Just Hate the 'Xs'?

Does it annoy you when someone you like and they like you back but nothing's gone further and they put 'xxx' at the end of their message, so you put it back and when they reply, they don't put ANY x's? It really annoys me when someone does it! I just think including myself, everyone reads too much into x's. I just can't help myself. I know it means probably nothing, but when a person is inconsistent with the x's it really annoys me and frustrates me. Does anyone else feel the same? And have you got any good stories behind the topic?
