| I'm 18, a guy, not religious in any way, and I've been with my girlfriend for over 3 years, we lost our virginities to each other. I cant see myself having sex with someone on a whim, and I don't understand how people can. For me sex is a passionate, loving act between two people - not a casual social encounter. But that's just me. A lot of people around me have a completely different attitude towards sex than I do. My friends respect my views as much as I respect theirs, but when talking to people who I don't know that well and when relationships spring up in conversation, the question "how long have you been together" comes up. I say 3 years and they are usually blown away. One response that springs to mind is "Jesus, I cant stay with the same girl for more than 6 months - don't you get bored of that pussy?". Another is "You are young, why do you want to settle down? You should be out ****ing as many girls as possible, ever wanted a threesome?" my response being "no - not my thing" warranted some more raised eyebrows. I don't get it. | |||

I feel like a social anomaly when it comes to sex.
