Standards lower?

I've noticed that after years of marital unhappiness, my standards of attractiveness are much lower. Honestly, I would rate 70% of the women in my age range I see as a 7 or better. (yes, I know this is horribly shallow, and I do care what's on the inside) Is there some sort of scientific basis for this? My gut says yes, that's just my gut.
