I'm scared people wont like me

I've been homeschooled for around three to four years now. From the age of 14-18

Im off to university in Sept. And to be honest, I'm scared people wont like me.
I know I am social, I make people laugh, can start conversations in a millisecond, and I know people look at me and say Oh her? Yeah she's got tonnes of friends, but inside I am so, so lonely and sad.

I barely go out of my house. Ever. I think the last time I went out must have been a month ago, maybe more?

When I am out, and around people I can make friends instantly, but its hard keeping them. I don't know why but everyone drifts away from me after a while.

I am so scared I'll start university and no one will like me. Being home-schooled has made me really self conscious, and under-confident I'm now overweight, and I feel sad all the time.

I feel so surprised writing all this down, because reading this, I sound depressed, but I'm always smiling and laughing, I generally do love life.

On the other hand, I feel like I don't know who i am yet. What kind of person am i? I was reading somewhere, that according to some psychologist you build up an image of yourself, your personality through communication with other people. See, I haven't had much communication, and interaction with people to know what I am like!

I feel lost, and lonely. I don't want to be like this anymore, and I want to know who I am, and feel comfortable before I go to university...

:cry2:

Constantly accused of cheating..

Been with my partner for three years.
He's always been slightly paranoid but since before Christmas he has been accusing me of cheating literally everyday.
I have NOT, I don't even talk to boys as he gets paranoid. He has no reason to think this. I never even leave the house without him, have no friends since he got paranoid about me texting them. I even spoke to his mum regarding this and she says he has no reason to accuse me, perhaps he's been cheated on in the past? Idk.

He won't open up.he's the only person I have ever been with. And I do/love him but this is taking its toll. I have medical problems and stress makes them worse'. I even left a job as he was getting paranoid about customers.

I can text him and ring him with no reply for hours.. And I've never once accused him!

I've come to realise this is ridiculous, like yesterday someone drove past us, which I didn't notice, and apparently they 'eyed'me.
He's been telling me he doesn't want to see me, needs space. Which I give him. But then when I don't text by giving him space I get inundated with texts saying 'is he better than me' or ' with someone I take it' or 'I'll find someone else'

I don't know what to do.
When he's nice he's lovely but he's too accusational these days.
I'm starting to wonder if perhaps he is hiding something? My friend says perhaps he's cheating on me?

Opinions would be much appreciated :-)

Birthdays

What is the appropriate 'greeting' when someone you're dating has a bday?
We have been dating for a while, drinks, dinners etc. but haven't agreed to be exclusive so we are not a "couple", which is why it's not time yet to give presents or anything like that.
When it's his bday, do I call to say happy birthday? Text? We're friends on facebook (he added me). I sometimes get the impression that guys like receiving nice messages on their wall from a pretty girl (perhaps in terms of showing off). I don't care what the reason is really, I'm just wondering if I should.
What's the norm here. Both saying happy birthday in private and writing something on fb as well? Or just one?

(Put anon because he might be on here and his bday is close too, don't want to reveal my user)

Am I in the wrong here?! Quick question...

I sent the guy I've been seeing a picture of a cute puppy with big dark eyes and spiky hair like his...I was calling him cute beforehand.

Then he said it doesn't resemble him at all and he sent a cute baby pic of himself and i said it was cute and that he hasn't changed much, then I quickly went on picture art and quickly drew his spiky hair and stubble and sent it back saying 'hahaha' just as a joke and conversation since it was going dry. He replied

'You don't ever deface my family photos you taking the piss' and then two more straight after saying 'cnut*'
'Guess you don't know about etiquette'

Me: I was hardly defacing it, your so upset because I've drew added spicy hair on my phone... But thanks for calling me a ****...etiquette...gentleman.

He ignored

Me: Bloody hell just talk when your back from hol's yeah. Enjoy.

Him: When you apologise ill talk again

Me: I'm not apologising since you called me a cnut*

Depression with Menopause

I have been with a man for 5 years. Unfortunately that is when I first started symptoms of menopause. I feel like I have not been myself for 5 years. Most of my symptoms are hot flashes, not sleeping a full night for 5 years, mild depression, very sensitive, and I will find myself in the bathroom crying for no reason.

I do love the man I am with but I find I do not like him very much. How is that possible? I get upset at the smallest things. I am sure he feels like he cannot do anything right.

Sometimes I feel like I was happier when I was single. I feel like I would be able to handle my menopause easier if I was by myself but then I know I would miss him very much.

He is a very sweet man, generous, loving but just does not understand what I am going through sometimes.

I guess I just need to vent.

Thanks for listening.

Wife of 21 years asked for seperation

Hello all, tyvm for reading, and any responses you might put down.

2 weeks ago, My wife dropped the bomb on me that she wanted me to move out. I NEVER saw it coming. I'll be honest, i've been aware for about 5-6 months we've had some issues going on. We have 2 high school aged kids, one about to graduate. I'll also be honest that I just didnt help around the house or with the kids as much as I could of. I thought it was enough, but finding out now, in retrospect, I could have done more to help her. I made the mistake of just asking, and not enough of just doing.

We have a guy couple (guys) that live next door, and she's been spending a LOT of time with him (the more female of the two) over these same 5-6 months. He's already helped end 2 of our other neighbors marriages. Yet, I still watched as they would "hang out" every friday and saturday night, even as I was begging my wife to spend some time on "us". Even my kids mentioned to my wife that she's hardly ever home anymore. I always took it as she works hard, we have the kids and thier sports', and she needed to get away occasionally. Until, I guess that getting away became more fun that dealing with all the responsibilty.

Now I've been out on my own for a couple/few weeks, and instantly in an attempt to salvage what I could went for a few visits with a couples counselor. I got a lot of insight about myself, mistakes i've made, and things I need to fix on my end. No I dont drink, or do drugs. I'm self employed, but always left my evenings and weekends for the family stuff. I've read a few books, 5 languages of love is a great read btw, even if your marriage is great. Asked my wife if we could attempt to go to a new marriage counselor together, she agreed.

We got our first appointment 3.5 weeks away, seems like an eternity for me. BUT my wife continues to go out partying with the gay couple even more, has become even more short with me, and often goes out of her way to avoid any contact with me. Now heres the even more tricky part, I'm self employed, but she works for her dad, and that account is 95% of my business. So not only do we basically work together, she does my hours for billing, and signs my checks too. She's asked for room, and i'm giving all i can bare right now, it doesnt seem to matter. She tells me she needs to take it even slower now. lol does it get slower than no contact at this point?

Now im not sure what to do, we set up a date night, i'll make dinner and do a movie (what she wanted to do) but then invited both kids over as to not be alone with me. Not sure what im doing wrong here, do I stay the course with the marriage counselor, or let he keep running over me? Am I just upset and over-reacting to the fact im trying, and at this point she's still just trying to figure things out? I havent been clingy or been the sobbing mess i was the first couple of days for a couple of weeks (im sure that pushed here even further away looking back at it). Instead i've mentioned some of my flaws, things im working on, and even explored some outlets for myself (new cooking class to help with dinners, took back up my guitar lessons, even taking a dance class (in hopes she lets me take her out-havent told her about that one yet). What am i missing, any advice on the route im taking or my plan to hopefully save the marriage? Thx again for any advice, hopefully I gave enoug h information for some input.

Missing the relationship not the person

Okay so, I haven't had a relationship since my ex (about a year ago). This is for a few reasons, at first I was really hurt and could not even think about a relationship with anyone and didn't see the point in dragging someone through that emotional mess.
Secondly, I had a lot of difficult events happen in a short space of time and I needed as much time as possible to heal from everything that happened. Again, I didn't really want a relationship as I wanted to have my own space and time to think.

So now I think I have come out of everything a lot stronger. I don't think about my ex unless I am lonely and that's how I know it's not him I miss, but the relationship. I also have seen him since and never really felt attracted to him anymore so that part of my life is over.

I haven't really 'dated' and wouldn't really know where to start. I just feel a bit out of my depth and up to now, noone has really crossed my path. I don't mind as I believe that if it was meant to be it will be etc etc but I don't know how to get past this very lonely feeling of missing being with someone and the closeness that comes with relationships and just having someone there who really knows you...
I don't want to and will not, throw myself at anyone just for the sake of 'being' with someone as I would rather wait it out, but any tips on making it easier? Or how to meet more people etc

I know it's a bit sad lol but any advice would be brill! :) Thank you

Expose the affair?

My wife is or was having an affair. I don't know if it was physical. She is trying to reconcile. She hand wrote a no contact letter that I mailed. She says she no longer has email contact. I have been trying to monitor her email the past couple of days. She says she still thinks about the other man, but is trying to get over it.
I am having trouble believing that the affair ended since she loves this other guy.
I'm trying to decide if I should contact her side of the family to expose the affair. We are going on a vacation with her parents and sister's family in 4 weeks. We are staying in a house together with them and our 2 toddlers. I think it would make the vacation very awkward and uncomfortable if I told these people about the affair. If she is still contacting the other man, I think I need help to get her to stop. I can't confirm she is still in contact yet. It seems like she would not be able to stop cold turkey like she says she's doing.
I need some advice.

Why are guys checking me out more than girls? 0_0

Anon as people might know me here. So basically, I'm 21 years old in university. Thing is, I notice far more guys checking me out rather than girls. Okay, I feel flattered :p but still! Why do I get attention from guys rather than girls? My friend keeps telling me there's something about me which attracts gay guys, but I fail to notice it. I dress nice, but that's about it. Lol anyone been in this position guys? What do I do? :p

Is it my place to tell the truth?

Okay, a bit of a long story here. Essentially, I've been really close friends with a guy for about 1.5yrs. 4 months ago, I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years, and then about a month after that my friend and I pulled on a night out. That provoked us to both admitting that we really liked each other (he especially admitted that he has always sort of liked me like that), but I stressed that I wanted to remain single because I'm enjoying the independence that I haven't had in a long time. For about a month, we had a "thing" since we were seeing each other loads, sleeping together etc.

That died down because he got stressed about uni and job interviews, so I gave him space. He took that as me no longer being interested in him, and it all came to a point when we had an argument because I got upset when he was texting me telling about girl who'd asked him out on a date, since he didn't realise that I had still had feelings for him. Since then, we've been acting like good friends (ie. for the past 6 weeks or so) until last weekend, when we both got quite drunk on a night out and went home together. Whilst us sleeping together on the night can blamed on drink, the morning after we slept together twice more, so it's left me feeling a bit confused.

Now here's where things get really complicated...there's another girl. He's never told me about her, but since we have mutual friends it's come out in conversation that he's been sort of seeing her since about a month before I broke up with my ex (ie. 5 months ago). I didn't care at the time since my friend and I hadn't even gotten with each other when I was told, but someone told me her name so I do know she pops up on facebook and stuff. Whilst my friend and I had our "thing" it was quite obvious that there wasn't another girl, as he was texting me constantly and always asking me to see him so him doing that with another girl as well couldn't have been possible.

Since we've died down, it's become apparent that he's started dating her again. She's clearly smitten with him as she's always popping up on his facebook and commenting, even if she doesn't get a response. Whilst I still have feelings for him, I don't take issue with this because it's not like we're an item or anything. However, today has really shook me up as I've inferred from facebook that she stayed over at his last night, which is only 6 days after he and I slept together. I feel awful for her. Even if nothing else happens between my friend and I, if I were in her shoes I'd still want to know if he'd slept with someone else so recently.

What gets me about this is that she clearly really likes him and has no idea about what he's got up to behind her back. I'm not even angry for myself because he more or less jumped at the first opportunity he got to get with me since I'd been single for a short period of time, and then when things died down with me he went back to her. Should I say something? I know I'm sacrificing my friendship if I do that, but the way he's treated her has made me so angry.

Red flag?

I got a message last night on a dating website from a guy who went to my school years ago, he didn't know it was me as I hide my pictures. We exchanged a few messages and he knows who I am now. What put me off was he said he was bored and had been asked to hang out with his friend or could go to the pub with his family. He then asked if I wanted to hang out with him. I don't know if this is a red flag but saying you're bored is basically saying can you entertain me, he doesn't do anything with his spare time and he is willing to drop a friend or family at the drop of hat. He said he would like to meet still another time, should I be cautious?

Another one I would love to see is Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, they are both as crazy and beautiful as eachother, can you just imagine it?

I also think David Beckham and Cheryl Cole would make the perfect couple.

I want Rihanna to ditch CB and go for Drake.

The one I always wanted to see is Leo with Kate Winslet and
Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj!!!

Lastly, Harry Styles and Emma Watson.Awesome random couple.
