I'll try and keep this short as possible. Last year I had a fling with a guy who is now on placement. A few weeks ago I got with one of his friends. I had had quite a bit to drink on a night out and ended up making a move. We ended up making out for most of the night, and he was really nice bought me a drink etc.
I went home with my friend but he said to me "I'll see you on Saturday" because we were both going to a gig a band was playing at. Saturday came and I saw him out there but he seemed a bit off with me, and I bumped into one of our mutual friends who saw us making out and I said "I don't think he likes me in that way" and he said "Yeah, you're right".
Anyway, I decided to leave it at that, but since then he's returned to normal/been nice to me. The last few times I have seen him he's come over and given me a hug and started talking to me, and last week he found out that I got rejected from my first choice for my Masters and sent me a message saying he was sorry to hear it.
I don't know whether he just wants things to return as normal and be friends like we used to (although we have never been close friends). We have never discussed that night when we made out so I don't know whether he's not interested and wants to be friends or what :S any ideas?
