| Anon cos people know me here. I had kept a secret about my gf for about a year now. Now my parents know about her. It wasn't well received at all. They are saying I'm too young for this, there are too many cultural differences between me and her. They're telling me to break up with her. I'm 17 atm. My gf is 18. What shall I do? Our relationship is pretty serious and we can see going in the long term. Whereas my parents don't see it that way at all. They don't see her being their daughter in law at all and they've made it clear to me. How should I approach this? I'd be comfortable in PMing people since I can post more details there.
