| I'm just curious to see if many people have really unbelievable background stories to finding their partner... The sort of situation where a whole host of good luck just went your way, really unlikely contingent factors all fell into place, and left you both in the right place in the right time! The only opportunity you would have ever had to meet in your life - where you step back and think how unlikely and statistically absurd it was that you could have ever found each other. So not exactly: "we met at school" or "on the internet", but rather something like: "My flight to New York was diverted to Washington DC... the person next to me in the hotel lobby queue recommended a particular restaurant in some obscure backstreet location... and I tripped over the bag of my future girlfriend as I was leaving that obscure little restaurant in a city I should never have been in..." | |||
