To single moms that were/are in their 20s.

Any funny/interesting stories to tell? Any stories of what it was like raising kids by yourself? For me, there were ups and downs. I took care of my daughter solely on my own when she was 3 months old. I was just 20. It was tough getting used to everything. I read books on taking care of newborns and parenting. Having to take care of her in my dorm sucked. Or the mens bathooms. I got to be known as "the guy with the kid" and while there were plenty of single mothers single dads were hard to find. I would try to get to know the single mothers but realized I was always left out. She never had many playdates as a child. As for a funny story? When my daughter was 7 she was outside playing and then some mean girl next door came over and tried to take her ball! My daughter stood up to her and said no and pushed her down. The mean girl just ran home crying lol. Karma is what you get.
