Do I go to the funeral?

Hi all, A grandparent has recently passed away and their funeral is next week. Any other time I wouldn't hesitate going obviously, but at the moment I'm over 200 miles away at university studying for my exams. I want to go to be there for my family as I should be but it's also going to take a lot of time out of my revision time; ill have had an exam the day before and 3 a few days after which makes it worse. I think it's going to add a lot of stress onto me and my exams will suffer because of it, I don't even have a chance to resit as I won't be here in the summer. My family understand how important the exams are and seem fine about me not going but I know ill feel bad if I don't. What would you do in my situation? Have you been in my situation before?
