Need advise!!!!!

I am a 17 year old muslim girl who is falling for a muslim guy. He is in one of my lessons at college. I have literally spoken to every person in that class apart from him. I am never shy around people. I don't know what it is but there is something about him that draws me to him. Whenever I am near him or just walk past him he gives me this awkward stare and I just turn around because it is so intense. He has never said a word to me and he is definitely not a shy person. In class I can feel his stare and everyone else hardly gives me a second glance. And I have never felt this awkward towards a guy in.my life. Just bear in mind, yes I am developing feelings for him BUT I do not want a relationship to occur because my islamic beliefs are strong. And I KNOW that TSR isn't a place for religious relationship advise. So here is the question how do I start a conversation with him? All I want to do is get to know him better and put aside my feelings for him. Do I just randomly struck up a conversation with him or just wait for his move.
