Are good looking women more likely to get chosen for jobs over plain looking women? I'm not talking about things like working in shops or being a receptionist (because obviously being good looking puts you at an advantage), I'm talking about even jobs that require a degree, and also getting promoted later on. Does it make it easier? It seems like all the good looking people I know find it much easier to get jobs and get promoted, and these are people who work in jobs like finance, teaching etc. I'm not suggesting that pretty women who are rubbish at their job will get promoted, but if they are good are they at an advantage over an average looking woman who is just as good? | |||

Does being pretty help women career-wise?
