Hello
Married 7.5 years, no children, need advice
Since the day we married, my husband has been untrustworthy when it comes to "his opinion" about marital infidelity. For some unknown psychological reason (discovered after we were married) he seems to think it is his right to prowl other opportunities for easy sex. Sounds horrible I know.
Lately, I've discovered he is involved with several sleazy online meeting sites like xpickup.com, meetwives.com, xsocial.com, xcheaters.com and flritlocal.com. He registers as a 28 year old with an old photo (he is 53) and prowls for easy sex. Of course these sites are not real. The woman are all "ready to go" but nothing ever happens because he is too cheap to join. He goes online for an ego boost when he gets a "like" or a "friend" request. He has tried emailing the perfect women on these sites but none have responded back. I'm convinced these sites are ploys for money, not "hooking up".
Basically, I'm married to a complete a-hole and I'm on an exit plan. Love for him is gone.
My question is, in the State of Florida, how long does one have to be married to be sure all assets are split 50/50. I have no intention of staying in this marriage because one day he'll bring home a disease. He obviously doesn't love me or our marriage. He only loves himself. Oh, of course when confronted, it is all my fault. He can't even take responsibility for his actions.
I was told if you are married at least 10 years, there is a good chance all finances will be split 50/50. I'm concerned because we are in our mid 50s and starting over financially will be difficult.
Thanks.
