While I was working at uni today a girl came up and asked whether I wanted to get coffee? At which point, (I know it sounds bad but I was busy) I said absolutely not! She looked hurt by this and I immediately regret it but did not know what to say so I got back on with my work. How do I let her know that while I am too busy to get coffee during the day, I wish her no ill will and want to apologise for being so rude.
